Mediation Rules

  1. All persons necessary to make a decision and resolve this matter must be present at the mediation. Any guardian ad litem should also be present.  If there is one in the case, please let us know when booking your appointment.

  2. Any non-party insurance company, which has not offered policy limits, must send a representative to the mediation.  But, if the insured party has any exposure outside policy limits or has any control or influence on the amount paid within policy limits, then both the insured party and the insurance representative must attend.

  3. All parties must participate in the process in good faith and with the intention to settle if at all possible;

  4. All parties and their attorneys must review and accept the “Rules for Mediation” which accompany the “Agreement for Mediation” and “Instructions for Mediation”. 

  5. Cancellation Fee. Please be aware that a 100% cancellation fee may be charged if mediation is cancelled or postponed within 3 days of the mediation date. No cancellation fee will be assessed if I am able to fill the day with another mediation. The cancellation fee will not be a credit against the full fee should the parties decide to reschedule the mediation.

Mediation Costs

Half-Day Mediation

$1,000.00 per party

Morning Half-Day Mediations: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Afternoon Half-Day Mediations: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Full-Day Mediation

$2,000.00 per party

Full Day Mediations: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
